Record Attendance¶
Use this page to enter attendance manually when records are not coming from an automatic attendance source.
Summary¶
Manual attendance entry lets you correct missed records or add attendance for staff who were not captured by another system. Use it carefully, because the values here can affect payroll and reporting.
When to use this page¶
- When an employee forgot to clock in or out.
- When you need to correct an attendance record.
- When attendance must be entered for a manual payroll process.

From the sidebar, go to Employee -> Attendance and open the add or record attendance page.
Step-by-step instructions¶
- Open Attendance Overview from the sidebar.
- Click the add action to start a new attendance entry.
- Select the employee and date.
- Enter the attendance status or time details required by your process.
- Add a note if the entry is a correction.
- Click Save to store the record.
Field reference¶
- Employee - The staff member whose attendance is being recorded.
- Date - The day the attendance applies to.
- Status - The attendance result, such as present, absent, or late.
- Time in / Time out - The working times if your attendance form uses time-based entry.
- Note - A short reason for manual edits or corrections.
Tips and common issues¶
- Double-check the employee before saving, because attendance affects payroll calculations.
- Add a note whenever you correct a previous record so the reason is clear later.
- If your business uses a different attendance source, follow that process first and use manual entry only for exceptions.
