Use this page to temporarily pause normal user access during planned updates or urgent maintenance.

Summary

Use maintenance mode to protect data consistency while critical updates are in progress. It helps you control access and reduce user-facing errors during changes.

When to use this page

  • Before major configuration or deployment changes.
  • During planned maintenance windows.
  • While resolving incidents that require temporary access restriction.

How to access this page

From the left sidebar, go to Settings and Admin -> Maintenance Mode.

Prerequisites

  • You have permission to enable and disable maintenance mode.
  • Users have been notified if the maintenance is planned.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Maintenance Mode.
  2. Confirm the maintenance reason and expected duration.
  3. Enable maintenance mode.
  4. Perform required updates or checks.
  5. Verify system health after maintenance work is complete.
  6. Disable maintenance mode and confirm normal access is restored.
